To honour the unwavering love, silent sacrifices, and nurturing spirit of mothers, the Kindergarten Section of Shantiniketan Indian School hosted a heartwarming Mother’s Day Celebration on 11th May 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall. The event was a tribute to the irreplaceable role mothers play in shaping young lives and nurturing the roots of our future.
The celebration commenced with an inspiring welcome address by our esteemed Academic Supervisor, Mrs. Mehjabeen Hasan, who eloquently spoke about the profound influence of a mother in a child’s life and emphasized the values of gratitude, respect, and affection.
The atmosphere was filled with emotion and cheer as the children presented an array of delightful performances — soulful songs, endearing dances, and fun filled games — all dedicated to the queen of every heart: Mom.
The celebration also featured engaging activities for mothers, including interactive Dare chair and the much-adored “Mom n me …Moms in Action” where mothers and their little ones shared the stage, celebrating their bond through song, dance, and creativity.
Adding to the emotional resonance of the day, children presented beautifully handcrafted cards and tokens of love, specially made for their mothers. These simple yet heartfelt gifts captured the innocence of childhood and the purity of a child’s love.
The event concluded on a joyful note by the Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Vice Principal Mr. Sujith Kumar and with refreshing juice …leaving everyone with moist eyes, warm smiles, and hearts full of memories.
It was truly an unforgettable celebration — one that beautifully honoured the pillars of every child’s world.
